Darkdays (Android)


In late 2019, during the Covid break, I embarked on a journey to develop my first game, Darkdays. Being an avid gamer and inspired by the horror movie "Impetigore," I delved into learning game development and coding with Unity. With passion and determination, I assembled the pieces, aided by talented developers and utilizing resources like Mixamo for animations and the Unity Asset Store for additional assets.

Darkdays is a gripping experience where players assume the role of Vic, a vengeful assassin who has lost his wife and child. Driven by a thirst for revenge, Vic follows a lead to a mysterious town, where he must navigate a treacherous environment, trust no one, and unleash his lethal skills to achieve his ultimate goal and find his way back home.

In the development of Darkdays, I took on various roles and responsibilities. Here are some highlights:

  1. Level Design: I meticulously crafted the game's environments, ensuring immersive and atmospheric settings that enhance the player's experience.
  2. Physics Implementation: I leveraged Unity's physics system to create realistic interactions, adding depth and authenticity to the gameplay.
  3. Game Development: I handled all aspects of the game's development, from coding mechanics and systems to integrating assets and optimizing performance.

I'm immensely proud of the effort and dedication I poured into Darkdays.
